Learning with Oxford Science Studies

Students working together in a relaxed learning environment.

Here at Oxford Science Studies we pride ourselves on offering beneficial, comfortable and enjoyable learning experiences.  We have a cohort of regular students who return to us course on course, recommending our offerings to their friends.  Our tutors are friendly and our small class sizes and one to one tuition offerings provide students with the opportunity to hone in on specific topic areas or questions, they may not have had chance to focus on at school.

We invite applications from students of all backgrounds, aged 14 to 19 years.  Courses are suitable for those students focusing on their GCSE, IGCSE, IB and A Level studies, with tuition available for most classroom subjects and exam boards.

All timetables follow our trusted test and teach method.  The exact structure and length of time spent per subject option does vary between courses. Please see our course specific timetables for more information.

Online year-round Subject Tuition and University Preparation is also available with our sister organisation, OIC Academy (OICA).
OICA is a short course programme provider, offering bespoke online courses.  These are available throughout the year, on dates and times to suit the individual student, allowing them to join from the comfort of their own home or educational setting.  OXSS and OICA work closely alongside one another.  Many OXSS students go on to request supplementary tuition during term time, with a preferred tutor that they have worked with during their OXSS revision course.  It is a great way to maintain a working relationship with the tutor between courses, and allows for continual improvement.  In addition to Subject Tuition, OICA has expert tutors on hand to assist with University Preparation, including personal statement development, admissions tests and interview preparation, the three fundamental aspects of university applications.
